A wonderful early vintage gripoix glass pendant unexpectedly sourced at a little flea market in Geneva (these pieces always pop up when I least expect them to!).
The pendant features beautiful purple and blue gripoix glass leaves set into twisted gold metal frames with faux pearl detailing at the centre of each cluster of leaves.
The base of the pendant shows that this was one a brooch as there is a small panel where the clasp would have once sat. There are also some extra hooks on the base of the frame which can be seen best in picture five .
The pendant comes on a gold metal chain with a secure push clasp.
There is some wear to the coating of some of the faux pearls. The piece remains in good vintage condition overall.
