A lovely antique gold metal hook in the form of a snake.
A multifunctional piece, it was originally designed as a skirt hook to sit on a chatelaine but also makes a fabulous chain extender or charm holder.
The head of the snake features a turquoise glass cabochon and it comes with a chain bolt ring clasp attached - this can be removed if preferred.
There is a tiny flaw to the glass stone on the snake's head. The hook remains in good antique condition overall.
