A rare antique jet locket featuring an 'AEI' (Amity, Eternity and Infinity) emblem with unusual silver twigs representing each letter, a nod to the naturalistic approach of many Victorians when considering death.
The locket features a metal framed back with its original cover intact.
There is some wear to the black enamel of the lockets bale. The frame will require a penknife or something sharp to be prised open as it is very secure. The locket is in very good antique condition overall.
