A wonderful antique 15 carat gold ring that dates to the late 19th Century. The ring features a glass centre stone in a beautiful ruby colour. The glass stone is framed by three turquoise cabochons that lead to a beautifully detailed band. The ring is fully hallmarked on the inside of the band with an assay mark for Birmingham and the unknown makers mark 'TD'. It features the date letter K for 1859.
There is some very light age related wear to the prong settings that surround the glass stone. One of the turquoise stone is also set slightly deeper than the rest. The ring remains in good antique condition overall.
