An exceptional antique Victorian brooch embedded with colourful turquoise and pearl stones in a beautiful ornate style. The main body of the brooch is made from sterling silver with a rose gold base.
There are two small hallmarks on the clasp of the brooch. Two cross keys that look Scandinavian along with the mark ‘UC’. Unfortunately I have been unable to trace either mark.
There are a few smaller turquoise stones missing from the brooch but due to the busy design of the piece this is only noticeable on close inspection. Aside from some light age related wear the brooch remains in good condition.
