A stunning antique silver necklace dating to the early 20th century.
The necklace features graduated round moonstones set into open-back, pointed silver frames.
The necklace features the most amazing antique silver clasp, set with a large blue glass sugarloaf stone.
I don't think it's original to the chain, but I imagine they were put together a long time ago, and they work perfectly well together!
The clasp is marked with the silver grade "935". The chain tests as sterling silver.
Once placed flat, the moonstones sit well on the neck but do tend to move a little if bending over.
There are some light flaws within some of the moonstones. The necklace remains in good antique condition overall.
