Antique Silver Bressan Enamel Jewel Tone Pendant
A lovely antique Bressan enamel pendant created in the French city of Bourg-en-Bresse where this specific style of enamelling comes from.
The silver pendant features a red enamel front with lovely jewel toned detailing in red, gold, green & white. The pendant features two faint French hallmarks on its bale.
A little extra information that was passed on to me about this piece - It originally adorned a doll and sat attached to her dress for many years.
There are traces of gold plating remaining around the edges of the silver frame but most of it has worn away over time. The pendant is in good antique condition overall.
