An incredible piece of saphiret jewellery. This amazing brooch features an exceptionally large square cut saphiret glass stone which is beautifully faceted enhancing the deep blue and mauve tones within the glass.
I believe the stone is Edwardian but it has been set into a vintage metal brooch frame which features a secure roll over clasp.
The brooch is in good antique condition.
