A beautiful antique Stuart Crystal silver fob dating to around the 18th Century. The fob came attached to an antique silver watch chain and I believe it may have originally been a cufflink based on the placement of the hook and was possibly worn on the chain as a mourning piece. The rock crystal piece has a tiny gold cipher at its centre and is encased in a silver setting. Attached to the drop is a silver panel with seven small holes and a thick silver bolt ring. A tiny piece of history in jewel form.
There is some slight mottling to the surface surrounding the gold cipher. There is also some age related wear around the edges of the rock crystal piece. The piece remains in great condition for its age.
