A lovely little Georgian brooch created to commemorate the sighting of Halley’s Comet in 1835.
The brooch is made from a mix of unmarked gold and silver and features a foil-backed, faceted rock crystal stone alongside a smaller paste stone.
The brooch features a secure hook ‘C’ clasp and is English in origin.
The brooch is in good antique condition.
