An incredible antique Georgian gold brooch set with beautiful foil backed amethyst stones.
Each stone is set into a pronged gold frame and the brooch features a secure hook clasp on its base.
The brooch has been listed 'As Found' as there are some tears to the gold base frame with quite a few patches of soldering. There is also age related wear to the foil base of each amethyst stone.
The brooch remains in good condition for its age and is a real thing of beauty.
