A beautiful antique silver pheasant brooch set with a detailed pliqué a jour wing. The brooch is studded with clear paste stones with an ombre enamel head. The brooch has had a small repair to the clasp where it has been re-soldered at some point. Unfortunately the repair is covering the makers mark but I would imagine that the piece is German in origin and possibly by jeweller Heinrich Levinger.
As stated in the description the brooch has had a repair to its base, best seen in picture four. The pin sits slightly lose in the clasp but is secure once worn on fabric. The brooch is in good antique condition overall.
