A beautiful string of Venetian matte glass trade beads dating to the 19th Century.
The beads feature a variety of beautiful colours and patterns including one rare black ghost bead depicting a face.
The beads have been knotted on a thick white thread with green glass spacer beads. The necklace features a secure bolt ring clasp.
A truly wonderful wearable piece of history.
One green bead has a crack around the glass (picture 8) There is also some surface wear to the ghost bead and one other black bead. The necklace remains in good antique condition overall.
