An incredible piece of Austro Hungarian jewellery. This amazing silver necklace features a decorative bow drop studded with untreated sapphires and rubies with bezel set pearl detailing. The sapphires are such a beautiful colour and have a lovely glow to them.
The ornate drop is attached to a silver chain with unusual twisted metal bales. The chain of the necklace is set with iolite and mother of pearl stones. The necklace has been extended slightly with an age appropriate silver chain and is finished with its original bolt ring clasp.
The silver has a gold wash to it, typical of Austro Hungarian pieces which has faded slightly over time. The necklace remains in excellent condition for its age and looks incredible when worn.
