A beautiful pair of vintage earrings in a style known as Noppakao or Thai Princess based on the shape of a traditional Thai dancing crown. This style of jewellery dates to between the 1940s & 50s and comes from Thailand were pieces were originally crafted by local jewellers and purchased by soldiers as souvenir gifts to bring home to a loved one after the second world war.
The earrings feature a multitude of semi precious gems surrounded by bezel set blue topaz stones.
The stones are set into a silver front with an unmarked gold base, most likely 14 carat gold. The earrings are finished with secure butterfly backs.
There is a little bit of age related wear to a couple of the precious stones. The earrings remain in good vintage condition overall.
