A rare string of glass beads that are an unusual mix of saphiret and uranium glass. The beads feature the signature blue tint within the mauve toned glass and when placed under UV light turn a glowing shade of green indicating uranium within the glass.
Unfortunately it has been really hard to capture the colourful blue tone of the beads, possibly due to the uranium content within the glass. The beads are slightly paler in tone than traditional faceted saphiret glass but are still packed full of colour and look incredible when worn.
The beads have been newly restrung with small blue glass spacer beads and the necklace is finished with a secure bolt ring clasp.
There is some light discolouration inside a couple of the smaller saphiret beads. The necklace remains in good condition overall.
