A beautiful antique Edwardian saphiret glass heart that has been converted into a pendant from a broken brooch. The pendant features a foil backed saphiret heart with a matte finish to the glass. The heart is packed full of deep blues and browns, a contrast to the colours within many of the faceted glass stones. The heart has had a gold ring added to the paste frame where a chain can easily be threaded through. The pendant comes on a rolled gold chain finished with a secure bolt ring clasp.
