A beautiful piece of antique pliqué-a-jour glass jewellery dating to the late Art Nouveau period.
The pendant features an intricate silver flower with a gradient of blue & green glass petals and a deep blue enamelled star centre.
The frame surrounding the flower is equally as detailed with strands of woven silver interlocked together with matching enamel star panels.
The pendant is attached to a lovely enamel bale in matching colours and is marked with the silver grade '935'. I would imagine the pendant to be Austrian or German in origin.
There is some age related darkening to the silver in places, mainly around the insides of the frame. The necklace remains in good antique condition overall.
