A rather amazing antique silver gilt rope chain necklace set with individual cone shell drops.
Each shell is beautifully coloured in orange and white stripes and all vary slightly in shape and size.
The necklace features a secure push clasp. There are no hallmarks but the chain tests as silver and most likely dates to the late 19th Century.
The necklace is in good antique condition.
