A beautiful antique necklace set with rare glass stones known as 'Berlin Glass'.
Each glass stone features black scalloped edges embedded into clear glass.
I believe the glass was made to imitate the look of old mine cut diamonds and is a great example of the ingenuity of costume jewellers at the time.
The necklace features a secure push clasp.
There is some wear to the plating of the metal, predominantly on the bases of the panels. The necklace remains in good antique condition.
