A wonderful antique French costume necklace set with beautiful sparkling paste stones.
Each stone is set into a closed metal cup back with a 'teeth' setting which indicates the necklace is most likely French in origin. The necklace features a lovely floral drop with matching paste stones and is finished with a secure hook clasp.
The stones all vary slightly in size and setting which can be seen best in picture five. The silver tone of the metal has worn away over time giving the piece a lovely aged look.
The necklace remains in good antique condition overall and looks wonderful on.
