A wonderful antique Edwardian necklace set with sixteen saphiret glass stones.
Each stone is beautifully faceted and packed full of rich colour typical of early saphriet glass.
Each stone is prong set into an open back metal frame set in-between a gold metal links.
The necklace features a secure bolt ring clasp and has an antique belcher chain attached which can be adjusted to a specific length if needed. The necklace is being worn at around 15 inches in picture two.
There is some very light surface wear to some of the stones, only noticeable on very close inspection. The necklace is in good antique condition overall.
