A wonderful French Georgian paste rivière necklace set with graduated sparkling glass stones in domed silver close backed frames.
Unusually the stones are not foil backed so you do see hints of gold where the inside setting is reflected back into the glass. This is best seen in the picture 6.
The necklace is finished with a beautiful concealed push clasp with a large sparkling paste stone. The clasp features a tiny French boars head silver mark (picture 5).
It currently sits as a choker but can be lengthened from the clasp using silver chain if needed.
There is some age related discolouration to a couple of the paste stones. The necklace remains in good condition overall, particularly for its age.
