A lovely little Georgian gold brooch created to commemorate the sighting of Halley's Comet in 1835.
The brooch is made from unmarked 9 carat rose gold and features two beautiful foiled flat cut garnet stones. The brooch features a secure hook 'C' clasp.
The brooch is in good antique condition.
