A very sweet antique silver insect brooch set with a green cats eye glass cabochon with sparkling paste stones.
The brooch features a secure hook clasp which is hallmarked on the 'C' possibly with a French boars head assay mark, it is unfortunately too small to decipher.
Due to the design of the insects antennae the brooch can also easily be worn as a charm.
The brooch is in good antique condition.
