Antique Art Nouveau Silver Plique-à-jour Glass Pendant Brooch
An exceptional piece of antique plique-à-jour jewellery in the form of a brooch that can also be worn as a pendant.
The brooch features the most beautiful plique-à-jour glass detailing in a lovely green tone which is illuminated by clear paste stones with a little flower sitting at the centre of the brooch and a fleur-de-lis on the top.
The brooch features a secure hook 'C' clasp with two hooks for a chain to be worn as a pendant. The pendant sits slightly raised on the chest when worn due to the clasp which can be seen in picture four.
The brooch is not hallmarked dates but to the Art Nouveau period and is most likely French in origin.
There has been some light restoration to the top panels just above the flower. The brooch remains in good antique condition overall.
