A wonderful Art Nouveau Judgenstil inspired silver brooch in the form of a stylised butterfly.
The butterfly features green plique-à-Jour glass wings that have a lovely gradient to them with a large faceted amber glass centre stone and matching drop.
The brooch is marked 'Depose' with the silver grade '900' and although the piece does not feature any makers mark the markings used and style of brooch is typical of Heinrich Levinger jewellery of which quite a few pieces were not marked.
The brooch is in lovely condition with only some very light age related wear to the silver.
