The most amazing antique French silver pansy brooch with a hooked top to also be worn as a pendant.
The brooch is set with sparkling open backed clear paste stones with blue glass detailing towards the centre. Each stone is beautifully faceted and the settings of the stones is so finely done it elevates the piece to a whole new level.
The pansy features a secure hook clasp and is marked with a tiny French assay mark.
A couple of blue stones differ slightly in tone and have most likely been replaced over time. The brooch remains in good condition overall.
