The most incredible antique desk seal dating to the Victorian period.
The silver top of the seal is studded with hundreds of faceted Bohemian garnet stones.
The garnet top is attached to a brass seal engraved with the monogram 'WT' or 'ML'.
The seal is interchangeable and can be screwed in and out. There is a black thread woven around the top of the brass seal to ensure it remains secure in its fixture.
The seal comes in its original fitted leather box which fastens securely.
Both the seal & box are in good antique condition.
