An exceptional antique panel made by Paris based jewellers Piel Frères. The Art Nouveau piece features beautifully detailed metal storks in flight in a mirrored design with five individual peacock eye glass cabochons set amongst the design.
The panel does not feature any hallmarks but can be attributed to Frères based on its design.
The panel would have originally been worn as a hair piece and still has the original metal fitting on its base where a slide would have sat.
There are two small chips to the central glass cabochon which has can be seen in picture five. The piece remains in good antique condition overall.
